Mary’s situation was particularly daunting as she required moderate to maximum assistance for nearly every daily task upon admission. Like anyone in her shoes, regaining independence was a paramount goal.
Plan of Care
Mary’s journey toward recovery started with our healthcare professionals conducting a thorough assessment upon arrival. Given the nature of her injury, which demanded careful attention and specialized care, they developed a customized treatment strategy.
With a fractured femur, tasks that were once second nature had become a great challenge. The initial goal was to provide the support and therapies needed to alleviate pain, improve mobility and gradually restore independence.
The plan wasn’t just about physical rehabilitation but also included emotional and psychological well-being. Mary’s determination and our team’s unwavering commitment to her success were integral to this plan of care, setting the stage for a remarkable outcome.
