Our Story
Located in the quaint little city of Madisonville, Tennessee, Madisonville Health and Rehab opened in 1977, initially as East Tennessee Health Care. Madisonville’s population is just north of 5,100 people and it’s the county seat of Monroe County, which is about an hour south of Knoxville, TN. It’s a tight-knit community, where everyone knows everyone…and everyone cares for everyone. Madisonville Health and Rehab is the only long-term care/rehabilitation facility in Madisonville, licensed for 81 beds and Medicare and Medicaid-certified.
Residents of Madisonville Health and Rehab receive consistently excellent care from the facility’s friendly and hard-working staff of around 70 employees. Skilled services offered include physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as wound care, intravenous therapy and enteral nutrition. Our on-site rehab gym helps improve patient outcomes. Plus, we even have a program that helps patients that have returned home make the adjustment safely and successfully.
Our Levels of Care at Madisonville Health and Rehab range from Long-term and Respite care to Palliative and Hospice care. Seniors at Madisonville Health and Rehab experience a fulfilling family-like level of life management as they progress through the aging process, surrounded by familiar and caring faces they know by name, trust and care about.
