Learn about the Free Employee Housing Program at McKendree Village.

Montana Fisher, a member of the maintenance department at McKendree Village in Hermitage, Tennessee, recently shared his testimonial about the Free Housing opportunity provided to employees.

Montana’s role involves ensuring that all residents have a safe and properly functioning room to stay in. His boss, Todd, informed him about the Free Housing Program and encouraged him to take advantage of it to improve his financial standing.

To qualify for the program, Montana had to be on-call 24/7 and be willing to help on other shifts if necessary. Despite the demanding nature of his job, Montana described the program as being excellent.

“The Free Housing has given me significant financial benefit compared to the $1400 per month that we used to pay for rent,” said Montana, “and that was only five minutes away from the campus.”

Montana resides in a beautiful two-bedroom apartment and said that he would highly recommend the free housing program to any interested employee. However, he advised them to consider their mail and laundry situation beforehand since they may not have access to laundry facilities on campus. Nevertheless, he enjoys being more connected to the campus, as the on-campus housing allows him to stay informed about campus life. Montana also appreciates having his family with him, including his four-year-old daughter, whom the residents adore and treat as their own granddaughter.

Overall, Montana and his family greatly appreciate the benefits of the program and are happy to have the opportunity.
