I went to McKendree Village for rehab after spending time on a ventilator at Tristar. I’ve got to say that I received excellent care. They really exceeded my expectations on what a nursing facility experience would be. I LOVE the nurses, the physical therapists and all the others that made this stay go so smoothly. And I also like to mention that the food was really good even though I was on a mechanical soft food diet. I’m so thankful that I chose this place for my rehab and would highly recommend it to anyone else.
We’ve had three family members live at McKendree in different phases and we’ve been pleased. The staff is very caring and attentive. The facility is being renovated in phases with the new renovations being very nice. The dining rooms have been renovated and the food is quite good. The family members that are currently in McKendree love it!
My father was at Madisonville Health & Rehab and I couldn’t have asked for better care. He was initially against going to a nursing home even if it was only for therapy to return home. At the end of his stay he was very complimentary of the staff and care he received and was willing to come back in the future if he needed to
I’ve been visiting Waynesboro Health and Rehab for the past few years… the dining/activity area is always decorated nicely, and looks friendly & inviting. The halls are uncluttered and clean, and I have NEVER noticed that “nursing home smell”. The staff have always been friendly & helpful, whether nurse or LNA. They seem genuine in their concern for residents’ health & safety, and encourage visits from family & friends.
