My mother has resided here since November 2016. It is close to my house so I visit on a daily basis. I have visited during all hours, so I have gotten to know all of the different nurses, aids, etc. This is definitely a caring place where love certainly resides. If I ever have a problem with anything, I am on first name basis with the decision makers. Any issue is taken care of promptly. I have also been impressed with the quality of the food being served to the residents AND their guests that come to visit. Yes, the guests are welcome to eat right along side their family members. This is a nice gesture and the food rivals many of the local landmark west Knoxville cafeterias. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Westmoreland Health and Rehab to anyone.
I think since Westmoreland has taken over I have seen drastic improvement..my mom has been there for 5 years (when Breakbill owned it) and you get what you get for the money (low income housing)…
That said the improvements to the facility have been noted and improved and oi think the staff is really great.(it is a stressful, hard, and not a high paying position for many staff members)….they working with my Mother to regain walking..
Overall we are happy, even better My MOM is happy, in an affordable and renovated facility.
My family and I did not know what to expect when we places our mom at WHRC for rehab. We had some confusion but staff members were very helpful and all our questions were answered during the initial care plan meeting. We now know who to contact if we have further questions.

My father received a wonderful care from a great team of staff at Westmoreland during one of his last weeks before he passed away. We are forever grateful for people who gave him such a positive experience there.
Great tour with a newly renovated building with friendly staff. The new Alzheimer unit is amazing – this is a great service to the community! Glad we (Northshore Senior Living) are neighbors !

I like that I get informed on my family member. My family member has no complaints except for the food but she is a picky eater.
